In 1981, Shorts Brothers of Northern Ireland introduced the Shorts SD3-60. A stretched version of their very successful commuter 30 passenger Shorts SD3-30. The ease of operation and maintenance has made it one of the most reliable commuters in service. A total of 165 were manufactured between 1981 and 1995. To this day 85 remain in airline service of which 3 beloning to our company. This aircraft is operated by a crew of two pilots and a flight attendant.
