Tiara Air expands its destinations to Colombia! |

Tiara Air announces its inaugural flight to Colombia on the 21st of March 2009, to the city of Riohacha, located in “La Guajira Colombiana” Riohacha.
Its Airport Almirante Padilla had just received its international designation and Tiara Air is the first one to receive this. Tiara Air is honored to say that the Colombian Government contributed to make its status international, especially for Tiara Air can start with its operation.President of Colombia Dr. Alvaro Uribe Velez did put his final sight on the designation.
On the picture right you can see Mr. Camilo Muyale, Director of Sales & Marketing, shaking hands with the President Dr.Uribe Velez, while the President Uribe announced publicly that Tiara Air has the Colombian Government’s Blessing to fly Riohacha.

The department of La Guajira, with its capital Riohacha counts with many stories and tourist attraction, for example with the beautiful “malecon”, it’s night of tipical music of “Vallenato”, it’s discotheques, commercial centers, health centers and much more, urban transport is very cheap.There is a lot of seafood, delicious poultry and internationals food at an astonished low price. Riohacha is a very secure place that every tourist will feel safe at all times. There is a lot of hotels from 4 stars to less, pensions and guesthouses available. Sight seeing tours are also available to admire the beautiful places.

Oranjestad - Tiara Air which operates regularly between Aruba, Bonaire,Curacao Venezuela and Colombia, is Aruba’s very own airliner.

Tiara Air attended the Network Latin America Conference 2008 which took place on December 7, 8 and 9 at the Aruba Radisson Resort.  Tiara was represented by it’s executives Alejandro Muyale and Camilo Muyale. The conference was of great importance for the airline industry, providing the perfect environment to make an inroad with the Latin American carriers, low-cost carriers, regional operators and tourism authorities, as well as planners from the USA and beyond. Speakers from the aviation community of around the world shared many interesting and useful information. The event provided a great opportunity and plays an important role in the success of growth in the industry, where all categories of carriers attend, share their knowledge, and explore possibilities for new routes.

Oranjestad - Tiara Air held a cocktail party for the all the travel agencies in Aruba. This for Tiara Air is a very important step as to extend the business relationship with the travel agencies and to give them a special thanks for their support since Tiara Air started operated.
Tiara Air conducted a preferred destinations survey, which ended succesfully with a raffle. The winners of the destinations survey were Jurgen Cardoze, Bhatia Narain & Ivan Machado. They each received a Tiara Air's actual destination complementary ticket.
